The NBA will donate $5 from each adult registration from the NBA All-Star FIT Run, Walk & Dribble 5K and 1K to the USO with a guaranteed minimum donation of $5,000.
The USO (United Service Organizations) lifts the spirits of America's troops and their families millions of times each year at hundreds of places worldwide. We provide a touch of home through centers at airports and military bases in the U.S. and abroad, top quality entertainment and innovative programs and services. We also provide critical support to those who need us most, including forward-deployed troops, military families, wounded warriors and their families and the families of the fallen.
The USO is a private, nonprofit organization, not a government agency. Online registration is now closed. If you would like to register please come to our packet pick up location at Academy Sports & Outdoors, located at 9734 Katy Freeway (at Bunker Hill) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 15th or on race day at Discovery Green beginning at 6:30 AM.

On average an NBA player runs a total of 5 miles during a game. And teams can play over 50 games before the All-Star break. That is running over 250 miles to get to the 2013 NBA All-Star Game! We have a faster way.
If you want to ROCKET your way to the 2013 NBA All-Star Game all you have to do is register for the 2013 NBA All-Star FIT Run, Walk & Dribble. One lucky registrant will win two tickets to see the NBA stars shine and all you have to do is run 3.1 miles!*

The first 2,000 participants that register for the 2013 NBA All-Star Run, Walk & Dribble — 5K Run or 1K Walk will receive a FREE ticket to the NBA All-Star Jam Session (a $30 value) on Sunday, February 17th! Plus everyone who registers receive a commemorative race jersey (basketball style) as well as some pretty amazing offers from our sponsors and partners.
